
Problem: A 30-year old Employee Assistance Program provider was launching a first-of-its-kind suite of services designed specifically for physicians — and the healthcare leaders who employ them. The company needed help in two areas:
- Demonstrating to healthcare organizations how addressing “disruptive physician behaviors” with a multifaceted approach could help enhance patient safety, reduce staff turnover, prevent malpractice suits and retain valued doctors.
- Convincing troubled physicians (who are famously reluctant to ask for help) to take advantage of the physician-specific Employee Benefit Programs (EAP) offered by Physician Wellness Services (PWS)
Solution: In addition to developing copy for launch collateral, powerpoints, press releases, promotional displays, case studies and the PWS website, I helped develop and have provided content for two quarterly newsletters:
- In Practice targeted to healthcare leaders
- PWS Lifeline targeted to physicians and their families
